ALTA exam registration opens on February 20th, 2017 and closes April 20, 2017.
In conjunction with the Washington Association for Language Teaching (WAFLT) and the OSPI World Languages Program Office, the Bulgarian School of Seattle is hosting a Washington World Language Assessment Day on May 20th, 2017 at the UNIVERSITY OF WASHINGTON.
Students who pass this exam will earn 4-5 high school World Language credits which may be applied to any high school in USA. These credits will fulfill the world language requirements for high school graduation, so no other high school language classes are required for graduation. This can allow a student to use that time to take other needed high school classes or get a jump on college by taking college prep classes.
The exam includes the ALTA Writing Skills Assessment as well as Speaking and Listening Assessment. The registration is open to all students living in Washington State, who have a Bulgarian language proficiency and would like to earn high-school credits.
Registration must be completed by April 20, 2017.
