On May 21, 2016,  5 students of the Bulgarian School of Seattle participated in the ALTA Written Assessment for Bulgarian language approved by the Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction in the State of Washington and administered by the Bulgarian School of Seattle licensed examiner. All students achieved very high scores and as a result were allowed to participated in the ALTA Speaking and Listening Assessment. The result of taking the later assessment with passing score will meet the requirements for issuing a credit by the State of Washington OSPI for successful completion of foreign language training at a High School level.

Students who successfully passed the ALTA Written Assessments on May 21, 2016 with overall score Advanced & Superior (Possible Credits – 4) are:

Tsvetelina Dimitrova, 11th grade – Lake Washington School District

Alexandra Dimitrov, 7th grade – Northshore School District

Polina Tsvetanova, 7th grade – Kent School District

Svetoslav Dimitrov, 9th grade – Lake Washington School District
